A few months ago I found this old ford and had to have it, Mainly because I learned how to drive in a 1968 Ford. The truck needed a little work and still does but it is doing better. After first bringing it home I pulled the suspension apart and installed new brakes all the way around along with a few new bushings and what not. New Tires and a few more things before pulling the engine for some new gaskets and a couple power adders. Added full length headers, all new gaskets and seals, new torque converter, along with a few new seals in the trans, removed the 70cc old style heads and installed some 60cc mustang heads to bump the compression up a bit, 218/228 @.050 cam and lifters, new water pump, oil pump, and a few other goodies. Already had a edelbrock performer intake and 600 Holley so I have let that be so far. Its far from done but it is started! Smile

Very nice Neil! I remember sitting in my dad's lap driving a 65 f100 that he had when I was a kid.

Thanks bro, I learned how to drive in a 1968 ford ton so this truck brings back a lot of good memories. I have been looking for one for a long time. I got a lot more work to do but it is a good Georgia truck to start with very little rust.
